Holiday Cheers (Yes, those kind of cheers)

*This post is sponsored by Saline Dijon, Coastline Soap Co., Jacqueline Rose Jewelry and Saltwater Scripts, though opinions expressed below are those of Curated365!

We realized when we invited all of you to Saline’s Favorite Things (if you haven’t already marked your calendars and invited all your friends, it’s next Wednesday, 11/8 @ 8pm ET on Facebook Live via Saline Dijon’s page) that we probably should give you a glimpse into some of our favorite ways to “cheers!” even from afar — holiday cocktails!

We’re all about the collaboration, improvising, and making what YOU will enjoy, so we encourage you to use the below as a guideline but to post your drinks and tag us for a shout out in our story (@curated365 and use #curated365).

Champagne Supernova - and if its now in your head, listen here

  • 3 oz. champagne (prosecco works)

  • A few frozen berries (sliced strawberries, cranberries, blueberries, blackberries all work)

Pour champagne, add berries, watch the fizz!  For a lighter take cut champagne with club soda or add more frozen berries.  Fun boozy dessert to follow immediately after drinks

Cran-Tini - a holiday take on a martini that is fruity and fun

  • 2 oz. cranberry flavored vodka

  • ¾ oz. Cointreau

  • 2 oz. cranberry juice

  • ½ oz. fresh lime juice

Add all ingredients and ice together, shake — or stir — and pour into the fanciest glass you have!  In full transparency, you may not have Cointreau.  It’s a Triple Sec, so you can go with a basic one (Cointreau is orange-flavored) but a Grand Marnier works well, or anything citrus flavored.  Orange juice could substitute in a pinch!

Merry Mule - little bit ginger, lot a bit festive, copper mugs if you’ve got ‘em

  • 2 oz. vodka

  • ½ oz. lime juice

  • 4 oz. ginger beer (or ginger ale)

  • Lime (optional)

  • Cranberries (optional)

Mix vodka and lime juice with ice in a shaker, pour into a mug (or glass of choice) and top with ginger beer or ginger ale.  Garnish with lime (traditional) and/or cranberries (holiday take).  Little bit of spice, little bit of citrus, and a few ways to change it up.

The Double Gift Black & Tan - nothing too witty, straight up convenient

  • 6 oz lager or pale ale

  • 6 oz. stout

Pour lager then add the stout.  For the beer drinker who wants to take it up a notch.  Bonus, with two bottles or cans open, it’s silly to put it to waste!
