We Are Thankful for Our Village
*This post is sponsored by Saline Dijon, Coastline Soap Co., Jacqueline Rose Jewelry and Saltwater Scripts though opinions expressed below are those of Curated365!
When we embarked on what is now Curated365 a few months ago, we weren’t quite sure what to expect, or if anyone would support us. A virtual Main Street? Curated online shopping? We aren’t quite a retailer but we’d like to think we’re a little more than pop-up ads on websites and social media feeds. We’re people, behind quality products, supporting one another in a great community of likeminded entrepreneurs.
In one of the roughest years our country — scratch that, our world — has endured, it has been a bright spot for many of us to see that some businesses are thriving in this new digital world without the traditional onslaught of in-person visitors at markets, trade shows and walking into retail shops along actual Main Streets. And we’re here to say we are VERY thankful for that. And thankful for all of YOU who make that possible.
While you gear up for the holidays with Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday, and Giving Tuesday just around the corner, we encourage you to check out our Holiday 2020 Shop, and more importantly to visit our partners’ sites, sign up for the newsletters, follow them on social and give a like, a heart or a comment when you love something. We have a newfound appreciation for the momentum one online (free) action can have. You help us have a platform we otherwise cannot with restrictions and the “pay to play” mentality of many social networks.
We’ll wrap up this post with the many things we at Curated365 are grateful for, and wish you and yours a very Happy Thanksgiving!
For Saltwater Scripts and owner Elyse’s enthusiasm for jumping on this idea with us. It was brought up via text, discussed over drinks a week later, and by the end of dinner it was a done deal. Curated365 would have at least one vendor partner.
For Coastline Soap and owner Steven who was so excited for the collaboration (the Collective as we called it before we settled on a name — and couldn’t choose this because all social handles and URLs were taken), and for his insistence that this would bring value to his company and his brand.
For Jaqueline Rose Jewelry and owner Jackie (who we’ve only spoken to via texts, emails, calls, Zooms — and never in person!) who always strives to bring new ideas and a passion for small business unlike anyone we’ve ever met.
For Saline Dijon, whom has been a Curated365 supporter from the moment we reconnected and asked her to help us spread the word about our partner vendors. A solid friend, advocate and all around amazing person to have in our corner.
For the countless folks who follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest, signed up for our newsletter, and take it a step further to share our photos, like our products and share pictures of what you buy from our crew — you make us thrive!
For the folks whose photos make Curated365 blog posts, social posts and page designs as top notch as possible with their stock photos, we wanted you to know you are seen and appreciated, and please keep sharing your talents with the world, especially:
